Abstract : Recent examinations of specimens of the Tribe Theniini, Anomaloninae from the peninsula of south Korea has revealed a new genus. Pseudagrypon, in most closely related to the palaearctic genera Agrypon and Bavylypa, and Pseudagrypon longipetiolum n. sp.

Abstract : Six new species of Periclista from East Asia are described, Periclista satoi, P. suweonensis P. serratae, and P. patura from Korea, and P. taiwanensis and P. shinoharai from Taiwan. These are the first records of Periclista from Korea and Taiwan. These species are known to feed on Quercus spp., P. satoi, P. suweonensis, and P. serratae.

Abstract : A key is provided to the four species of Trichomma in Korea. Four species are recognized, of which one is a newly described and two are nely recorded from Korea. T occisor occisor H. has been reared in Korea from Nephopteryx adelphella (Fischer von Roslerstamm) (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae), this host is recorded for the first time. The species and subspecies in the present work are as follows: Trichomma fulvidens (Wesmael), T. enecator (Rossi), T occisor occisor Habermehl, T. koreanum n. sp..

Abstract : The fauna of fly was found to be 46 species consisting of 10 Calliphoridae, 18 Sarcophagidae and 18 Muscidae in Dagelet Island. Three unreported species, Stomorhina obsoleta, Dichaetomyia bibax and Phaonia goberti were collected for the first time in Korea.
